Can I order up a Hugh Jackman or Gerard Butler please?

This morning I was happily munching on my breakfast while working through a crossword puzzle (or the granny sport as my sister like to refer it) from the free daily newspaper. I had already skimmed through the pages earlier on the bus and noted the infamous scandal of Tiger Woods. Underneath the article was a mentioning of 8 other male celebrities who had cheated on their significant others. As I work like a feign on the puzzle, two girls sat next to me and began a conversation while reading the same paper:

A: Did you read about the whole Tiger Wood thing?
B: Yes! And hey look! Since when did Ben Affleck cheat on someone? Who?
A: Jenny from the block as it says.
B: Oh his wife?
A: No I think it refers to J. Lo.
B: Ooooooo. All these men are just nasty.
A: Yes! It just goes to show you how often do guys cheat!...

Since when does celebrities represent the general population!?! If that is the case, then can we also have the general population resemble the looks and charms of these good looking people?? I do hate people cheating. But I also think women are as likely to cheat as men these days in the society. As a matter of fact I have heard of it being a very common issue in Hong Kong (girls with boyfriends are cheating because they like the thrill of it and they want a little variety in their lifestyles). And just as there are as much men cheating, there are as much men who are loyal to their significant others. People should really be less sexist towards the guys.

But no need for a Hugh Jackman nor a Gerard Butler for me. I got a yummy goodie to myself already.
